@BizzyCrook @RavenxMiyagi @YesIAmQuest Miami has been on the emergence in the hip-hop industry since the late 80's, early 90's with the 2 Live Crew. Since then, there has been plenty of artists that have been the staple of Miami Hip hop with the likes of Trick Daddy, Trina, Pitbull, Rick Ross, and Flo Rida just to name a few. Within the last 5 years, there's been a shift in the music aimed at the younger generation, but the message has never changed. Many artists have used various avenues to gain attention nationwide and the hardwork is paying off.
XXL is preparing to release their 2015 Freshmen issue. Although they have already picked their first 9 freshmen, they are allowing the fans to choose the last artists to be in the 10th spot (which I actually think is wack but that's my opinion). Miami/South Florida doesn't have only one candidates in the list but three: Bizzy Crook, Denzel Curry and Quest. Despite what you think or what you heard, these three are talented and are in spaces of their own. Overall it's a great look for South Florida and helps bring the light on Miami. So make sure you go head and vote for one of the three our all three! Congrats fellas.
